This nis my go-to summer shoe for all informal occasions. It is sturdier than "normal" boat shoes, with a touch of elegance. They polish to unimpressive shine. These last longer. As there is little arch support, I replace the bottom inner liner with a Dr. Scholes orthotic. The wide sizes are extremely scarce, so, if you need a "wide" get them if you are able to find them.The shoes are no where near the quality they were before moving production overseas. These shoes used to be the best boating shoe on the marked and now they are cheaply made, are not comfortable and have no arch support.Comfortable and breaks in easilyLeather lining not as smooth as lining of shoes purchased at a store.Good looking shoe and comfortable enough to wear all day. Good on carpet and sole is not slippery. Gold eyelets give shoe a rich look.A great value, and works well for work in a professional environment, or for a casual night out after work.
