These socks are soft, comfortable, and don't stink after wearing all day. This is my 3rd pair of Icebreaker socks - I appreciate their quality.Note that while this is a "light" hiking sock, they are still padded in the heels and toes and a heavy by non-hiking standards. It's thin enough to wear to work and warm enough for 4 seasons of outdoor use, though you might find it a little warm in the office during the summer. These are probably best suited for casual use and winter commutes to work. If you are looking for a "light" sock that you can also wear to work, I prefer the Smartwool Men's City Slicker.Used it in warm and cold weather, works very well, perfect foot fit. Recomended. These socks are very thick, comfortable, and durable. I bought them for my husband for our planned trip to Iceland. He started wearing them right away in his boots to work. He works outside in the weather and his feet stay warm. They don’t have holes and the elastic is still strong, something that he often struggles with in other socks. They are worth the price!I bought these for 5 dollars. They fit. The color is okay. They're pretty cushy and have some select areas where the fabric is thinner to allow for ventilation of your foot.Haven't had any problems with quality so far.Pretty okay socks for sure.I don't know if they're worth buying for full price, since you could get socks which include a lifetime warranty from other US made brands for less.Get what you pay for - High-quality product. Maintains shape and does not bunch up like other wool-blend socks..I bought these because of a review in Outside magazine. They worked just like they said. I wore them on a trip to New Zealand, the source of the Moreno wool used in socks. They held-up well didn't get smelly even after a couple days of hiking.Absolutely love these socks. These are my new benchmark for a winter hiking sock. They are heavy, but breath well enough to wear year round.Great socks. Nice cushion and well vented. The previous version of the product was my favorite sock - comfortable, warm and absorbent. It was good for wearing with walking boots, regular shoes or lounging at home. The new version has reduced the wool content from 77% to 64% and the top of the foot and lower leg is now much thinner which lets in the cold and gives less protection. This suggests they have just tried to save money. Before, it was a medium thickness merino wool sock and now it is a lightweight sock with medium padding on the sole and 50% more synthetics. It will probably be quite good if that is what you want but it is disappointing.Present for my dad who was getting cold in the office. He needed normal slim socks, not chunky walking socks, and these fit the bill. He can wear normal shoes and stay toasty.Dad did say they were very slippy inside his shoes thoughIcebreaker Basic Chaussettes de randonnée Homme Silver/Horizon/Oil FR : S (Taille Fabricant : S)eigentlich wollte ich was wärmeres zum Walken im Winter, das sind sie aber nicht.Normale, gute, Socken zum Wandern.Allerdings hört bei mir Wandern bei 10km auf ob die Teile auch bei 20KM Alpin Walk noch funktionieren werde ich nie herausfindenLight weight and stands up to a multi day hike. Would only consider if at a good price.
