Someone gave me a ankle pack of these as a gift. After trying them out a few weeks I jumped on Amazon to but a bunch more in long and short. These are easily the most comfortable socks I've even worn. They could be a bit thicker but are Not overly thin either. Worn them out clearing snow and didn't freeze the toes. Will always measure a sock against these. I'm writing a review about a sock, they impress me that much. Edit: 2024 - I ordered more and ended up receiving these ultra, thing, easy-to-rip, almost knock-off in quality, things....... These definitely bring my 5 start raving review to a one star. Don't cut corners to save a buck or whatever you did here, this thin version is absolutely the worst sock I've ever worn but the good news is, they wont last long enough to suffer long. Holes wear in the heal within weeks. Completely disappointed in Hanes!
