Cons/mini-rant:I don't know why, but it seems like every sock maker we come across designs their socks only a mannequin can wear comfortably: The sock part themselves are the right size, but the bands are for thin calves. Ever heard of muscles? Nothing like getting cold feet from a little circulation getting cut off and those itchy lines you get on your legs from wearing too-tight of socks. It's difficult looking for socks for my tall, muscular siblings. Help us out by designing socks for muscular calves in mind, I beg.Pros:Nonetheless, these socks come close to perfect. They are thick and cushiony (Thaaank youuu!), soft, stretchy (just a little less in the band -- better than others we've tried, though), are true to size, and several months in, they've pretty much stayed that way. I'm considering on getting some for myself, because it's not every day you find soft, stretchy socks with cushion that don't have awkward tight spots. And the cushion is made even all around the sock, not just focussing on targetted spots based on technical stuff some companies advertise just so their socks look special. If you don't happen to have hiking socks handy on a trip, these would serve you better than many socks we've come across (but still put a little duct tape inside the upper back of your shoe in case you start getting a welt).I fixed the issue by cutting a few nicks in the bands about 2 cm, but I understand not everybody wants to mutilate their socks, even in the slightest. So... 4/5 stars. My first package of polo socks was a long time ago. Since then they are the only socks I buy as they fit very well and lasted forever. I purchased these expecting the same level of quality and comfort. They are still extremely comfortable, but the quality has completely gone down.Amazon says I purchased these on May 15th, and my last pair got a hole in them today. I am not hard on my clothes as I work from home and with all the COVID stuff going on I don't put on shoes that often. In 3 months I've managed to go through 6 pair. Literally the first week I had hole appear in one of them. I would say they average about 2-3 weeks per pair. The holes have to do with manufacturing as they haven't been in the normal wear and tear spots; most have been on the top of sock. For the amount of money I paid for these, I expect them to last much longer.Everyday sock. I live in the desert and I need an anklet type sock that's quick and easy. Get a dozen, wear them every day. They'll last you a couple of years. I buy black and white but sometimes one can find grey which are good for winter and longer pants.Husband wears sz 12 & was tired of pulling up the sock heel. These sound like they’d be huge but they fit him with no overage though they’d no doubt stretch for bigger feet. He has 9 pairs & I’ll be ordering more! The ankle was not as tight as some others, which is good.Good socks and felt better getting larger size so not worried about shrinkage. Previously had some other Nike socks which were suppose to be extra large and they hardly fit my wife after a few washings and drying.Like extra room in toes of these socks which these provide. Medium weight of these is about right so fit into everyday shoes and golf shoes.Very comfyBought these socks for my son who wears size 14 shoes. These socks fit him perfectly and have held up very well thus far. Bought extended size Under Armour socks at the same time and two pairs of those socks already have begun to separate at the seams! Quality product at a reasonable price!
