The Large size is for tall people. I am not as tall so it prevents me from lifting my foot up too high. I was about to return it for this reason alone, but I got it at such a good deal here on Amazon (less than seven7y bucks) so I decided to live with it and I am glad I did.Excellent insulation, very lightweight.Could use more chest pockets.Hood is not detachable... no big deal.Volcano color is amazing... I get stopped by people asking me if I'm Ski Patrol all the time! lolZippers underarm allow for nice ventilation during warmer days. I did not sweat at all.Snowskirt fits snug and elastic is coated with anti-slip rubber/silicone.There is a pocket on the left arm to store your ski pass or car keys.All exterior pockets are zippered and waterproof.I skied on windy and rainy days wearing this jacket - it is waterproof. Rain droplets just run off... looks as if you treat it with RainX.Definitely recommend for a low budget (just watch the price like a hawk).
